holiday tablescape: touch of blue + pop of citrus

I had so much fun styling this gorgeous D’Ascoli tablecloth from The Avenue. As I searched for unique holiday linens, this one immediately jumped out because of the unexpected touch of blue. I knew it would pair beautifully with these Rebecca de Ravenel plates. I had purchased them earlier this year and was waiting for the perfect linen to complement the gorgeous red poppy design.

Since the tablecloth print wasn’t the traditional red and green scheme, I wanted to bring in another element that isn’t usually paired with holiday tables – bright, sunshiny, yellow lemons. I found these ribbon place cards from Julie King Studio and drew inspiration from how she had styled them with fresh lemons.
